This PTO driven cultivator with positive mechanical drive has a rotary cultivator head of 80cm width. To allow cultivation of the whole area under the tree the cultivator head is moved hydraulically in and out at 90 degrees to the direction of travel. The feeler in front of the cultivator senses any obstacle and causes the hydraulic ram to retract the cultivator away from the obstacle. Once past the obstacle the ram returns the cultivator head to the maximum working position.

A fine tilth up to 100mm deep can be produced, the depth of tilth can be adjusted from the tractor seat along with the head angle, the closeness to the tree and lateral position of the head.

Also available with a 60cm rotary cultivator head, a 60cm rotary harrow head and a 70cm flail head for grass cutting.
