Where required the machine has a ‘feeler bar’to sense a vine or post and move the working tool head around the obstruction. Interchangeable tool heads are available on some machines.

Front mounting
LUV "Perfect" dished ploughshare and cultivator on a mono vertical lifting fixture mounted on left and right hand sides. Equipped with disc ploughshares for summer work. The disc ploughshares cut a precise edge along grassed pathways.

 

 

 

 

Front mounted units call for separate plough guides
This means that dished ploughshares can be set to the correct depth from any unit even when traversing slopes. The precise maintenance free DBGM vertical lifting fixtures of inclined forwards, an absolutely essential feature which enables the dished ploughshare to cut into the ground independently, even at shallow working depths.

Rear mounted units LUV "Perfect"
Fitted to the left and right hand sides of our versatile single beam cultivator. It is just as quick and easy to fit this unit to rotavators and mulchers etc.

 

 

LUV "Perfekt" with a second 350 dia. disc plough
The second disc plough prevents the earth from falling on the grassed area due to the swing out of the spoon ploughshare. The disc plough with its rapid cutting angle adjustment is very advantageous in vineyards with a side slope as it enables the earth to be ploughed against the slope so that the furrow remains flat. The rapid adjustment can be easily controlled from the driver's seat.

 

 

 

LUV "Perfekt" with front mounted turf stripper and scraper. This equipment enables you to clear ploughed vineyards. As an alternative to the turf stripper a disc ploughshare can be fitted.

 

 

 

 

LUV "Perfekt"
with rigid leg and duckfoot ploughshare. This equipment is used to keep the ground clear in summer.
Important: It is a quick and easy process to angle the cultivators on the same square section steel leg of the lifting fixture. This means that the ploughshare can be accurately adjusted using a pressure control valve. This protects the vine stems.

Screw mulcher for clearing around the vines
The screw mulcher is a product which has been developed from many years experience and various designs such as rotary mulchers or flail mulchers. Its large feeler roller enables it to adapt precisely to the most varied conditions under the vines.
The screw mulcher has the following advantages: It is easily driven, does not clog and the geometry of the screw minimises the danger of damage to the vines. It can be fitted to all spoon ploughshare cultivators and mulchers.

 

Vine stem cleaner (rake unit)
Fitted to the precision vertical lifting fixture. The vine stem cleaner now has 20 years successful service to its credit and in addition to clearing shoots from the base of vine stems during cultivation, rotavating or stem cleaning work, is used increasingly as a stem mulcher.
Practical tip:
When mulching vines, it can also clear out twigs and sticks from around the stems.

 

UV cultivator
With summer ploughshare and reamer.
Guided by the versatile lifting fixture. The UV unit can also be mounted on conventional cultivators, rotavators. mulchers etc.
