Berthoud Speedair Sprayer (pictured above)

The environmentally friendly true directional sprayer for top fruit, hops and vines.
This sprayer is truly directional making it more environmentally friendly, as you arrange the nozzles to spray the tree rather than spraying up into the air. This machine has the power to cope with the wider plant widths and four row bed systems, as well as being compact enough for narrow plantings such as raspberries.

Berthoud Air Assisted Strawberry Sprayer

These popular sprayers have recently been re-modelled with a newer type tank and boom framework. This machine can be built to suit your requirements, depending on your bed system and is suitable for use in tunnels. Please feel free to discuss your needs with us.

Berthoud Fructair Sprayer

This new range of sprayers has been introduced to replace the renowned ‘Arbo’ series. The new ‘Fructair’ is much more streamlined and compact, with a smooth polyethylene tank for passing under the lowest trees without damage.

The TC is based on simplicity with a standard 840mm rear intake fan. The TI benefits from a new generation air flow system – a reverse intake 900mm axial fan taking the upper air and therefore preventing leaves and rubbish from being drawn into the fan. The T2i which will be available towards the end of the year, is equipped with an ‘Air Control’ device which allows the output to be varied by modulating the flow rate at the intake. Adjustable deflectors are used to obstruct the airflow thus allowing it to be adjusted to the volume of vegetation.

The new single piece chassis is manufactured from U-beams open to the outside which enables easier cleaning and limits corrosion and is available galvanised rather than painted, if required.

Berthoud Maxair 484

Specification sheet
A mounted high performance air blast sprayer, large 840mm diameter alloy fan in polyester case and with a neutral position gearbox.
Tank capacity of 400 litres being agitated hydraulically. A rinsing tank is built in with a changeover valve to flush the pump through and a separate hand wash tank is fitted.
The Gamma 80 lt./min pump will produce 40 bar pressure and has 3 long lasting ceramic cylinders with leather piston cups.
Standard fitment are Torex nozzle holders with Saphirex nozzles. Optional are Biflo nozzle holders with Microniser or Albuz nozzles to give greater versatility.
Electric boom controls with boom compensation and tractor mounted switch box mean that when single sided spraying the pressure does not increase and therefore the true output is maintained.
